How to get a Ferret

We got our ferrets, Rosie and Kira, at a local Petco store. If I can remember well enough, we were just there to pick up some dog food or something, and I came across the cage where all of the ferrets were and I really liked them. There was this one ferret that kept climbing up on the cage trying to get me. I liked that one the best. So we went home and later that night I asked my mom if I could get a ferret and she said only if I paid for it. We went back there the next day and I got the ferret that was climbing on the cage yesterday. I named her Rosie. She costed roughly $100. The day after that, my older brother wanted a ferret too so he got a ferret, paid for it and named it Kira. His cost around $100 too. So if you ever want a ferret, just go to your local pet store and they should have 'em. Easy Peezy.

Let the sleeping ferrets lie...

You just can never know where a ferret will decide to take a little ferret nap. I found these 2 cuties taking a snooze in my...underwear drawer. But don't worry, everything was clean in that drawer that day and we gave Rosie and Kira a bath after we found them in there.

Me!

This is me if any of you were wondering what I look like. We were at the pumpkin patch the day this photo was taken.

Kira the Cowgirl

Kira is Rosie's sister. Usually she is quiet and timid. But one night she decides to pretend to play cowgirl. But she doesn't know where to find a horse small enough for her. Just then, she sees the dog, Bandit, walk by. Perfect, she thought. She scurries over to him, and when Bandit had his back turned, she pounced on him and rode him like a real cowgirl would. Sure, the dog wasn't too happy but Kira was having a blast!

Rosie's Big Escape!

Once there was a ferret named Rosie. One day she decided to slip through the 1 inch spaced bars of her cage and escape! So she flattened herself like a pancake and squeezed herself through the bars. Now she was free! She scurried over to the huge bag of kitty litter she used and stared up at it. That bag was just too tempting. So she pounced on top of it, tipped it over and rolled around in a pool of cat litter on the floor. Oh, it felt so good to just roll around in all of that litter. But as she was turning over onto her back to stare at the ceiling in happiness, the face of her owner's mom appeared right in front of her. Boy, was she going to be in trouble.
" Bad Rosie, bad! Well, let me just get a picture of you first." So the mom ran downstairs to grab the camera and went paparazzi on Rosie. In the end, Rosie didn't get in as much trouble as she thought and she lived happily ever after, until her next breakout!

In the Beginning

In the beginning, everything was peaceful, quiet and clean. Then we decided to get ferrets and nothing was safe anymore, including all the couches, beds, and corners. My ferrets names are Rosie and Kira. They are 2 little precious souls when they are asleep but when they are awake, they are like 2 little devils. But they are so sweet, cute and funny all the same.
